About the AINT
Deborah Whelan launched the Advanced Institute of Nail Technology in 1999 having graduated from the Dun-Laoghaire College of Beauty in 1998.
After several years working with leading cosmetic brands such as Clinique, Estee Lauder, Guinot and Clarins, she went on to become the author of one of Australia's leading Nail curriculum's.

Extensive research back in Ireland convinced Deborah to develop her own professional training model for nail technicians supported by a series of specialised training videos.
Central to her philosophy is the need to ensure nail technicians are trained to the highest possible standards. The A.I.N.T. educates its students in a state-of-the-art learning environment where they are given the opportunity to experience actual salon training plus hands-on experience working with and learning to operate specialised equipment. All students are taught the most up-to-date industry trends, techniques and treatments using the finest professional products available.
The Institute of Nail Technology offers Insurance and an intensive training programme designed to help students meet the requirements of nail salons throughout the country. After a period of assessment, graduates are eligible to take the Higher Diploma examination and apply for full membership of the A.I.N.T.
